A Fighter’s Story: Maddox’s Battle with Ewing Sarcoma
Maddox was diagnosed with a Ewing Sarcoma shortly after his 3rd birthday. He endured 14 rounds of chemotherapy and 31 days of radiation over the span of 8 months. Through all of these challenges and treatments he never lost his desire to play and to just be a kid. Our family has been extremely blessed through this trying time by our amazing community, near and far. We are forever grateful for the love, support, and encouragement that we have received these past months. Maddox will continue to be monitored by his care team at Children’s Hospital Colorado by getting scans every few months for several years. Outside of that, he is excited to go to preschool, play with his friends, and continue being the happy-go-lucky, courageous lil guy we all love so much.

Kids1st delivered something only brothers can enjoy doing together, digging! A big picnic table and a bunch of Kinetic sand and farming tractors and dirt movers so the whole family get in on the action.
The picture of only Maddox was the day he finished chemo.
WAY TO FIGHT MADDOX!
